I am in dire need of a good transmission for a 1984 318i 5 speed. I was on my way home from work tonight and stopped at the store. When I got ready to leave I put it into reverse and it would not come out at all. I recently replaced the shifter plate and assorted bushings around 800+ miles ago. I either need to replace the whole tranny or I am open to suggestions.
